I have commited to creating a 0 waste studio that focuses on sustainable design. The garment industry is so destructive to the environment. Wool being the most sustainable fiber, as a renewable fiber with lower processing impact, we focus on wool and organic materials. We operate our studio as a cottage industry, we strive to create the most sustainable and socially responsible studio we can as well as educating our consumers in the process.
As a child I was fascinated with clothing construction and fine art. Growing up in a creative household allowed me to learn to knit, sew, draw, and create from an early age. After moving to Nashville, TN as a teenager, the opportunity to learn to sew and apprentice with an extraordinary seamstress lead me to sewing for a variety of people in the music industry. Following this, I attended The School of The Art Institute of Chicago to study fashion design. Post graduation I gained a Master Degree in Secondary Education for Visual Arts.
